WELCOME TO EXPLORE
After more than 25 years of travelling across all seven continents, staying in extraordinary hotels, discovering different cultures and photographing some of the world’s most beautiful places, I’ve realised that the greatest gift of travel isn’t simply where it takes us.
It’s who we become along the way.
I created EXPLORE to share what those years of travel have taught me—not simply a collection of beautiful destinations, but the experiences, rituals, hidden places and moments of wonder that have stayed with me long after I returned home.
Beautiful destinations and hidden gems.
Travel wisdom gathered along the way.
Photography and the art of seeing.
Luxury hotels and meaningful experiences.
Architecture, interiors, food and culture.
Wellbeing, creativity and reinvention.
And the small rituals that make life feel richer.
Because I believe travel can be so much more than an escape.
It can awaken our senses.
Shift our perspective.
Reconnect us with wonder.
And remind us of parts of ourselves we may have forgotten.
Growing older doesn't mean becoming someone entirely new. Perhaps it's about having the freedom, wisdom and confidence to rediscover who we've always been.
So whether you’re dreaming of your next destination, searching for inspiration, picking up a camera, or simply wondering what might be possible in this next season of your life...
Welcome to EXPLORE.
The world is waiting.
Let’s see where it takes us.
Stay curious. Stay creative. Keep exploring.
TRAVEL WISDOM - What travel has taught me
Some of my inner lessons
Curiosity is a compass. Follow what intrigues you—a street you’ve never walked down, a conversation with a stranger, a culture you don’t understand, an experience you might once have declined.
Curiosity often leads us back to forgotten parts of ourselves.
Travel teaches you to trust yourself. Navigating unfamiliar places, making decisions and dealing with the unexpected quietly builds confidence. You realise, I can do this.
Leave room for the unplanned. Some of my most memorable experiences have happened when there was no itinerary. We can become so accustomed to controlling our lives that we forget the beauty of allowing something unexpected to unfold.
Slow down enough to notice. Photography has taught me this repeatedly. Look at the light. Watch people. Notice architecture, sounds, smells and tiny rituals. Presence transforms travel—and life.
Spend time alone without feeling lonely. A coffee at a café, an early morning walk or watching a sunset alone can become an opportunity to hear your own thoughts without everyone else's expectations around you.
Choose experiences over things. What stays with us is rarely what we bought. It's the meal shared with someone, the swim before breakfast, the person we met, the view that stopped us in our tracks.
Say yes a little more often. Especially as we get older, it can become comfortable to remain within what we know. Travel reminds us that growth often begins with a slightly uncomfortable yes.
You are allowed to change. Perhaps one of the most important lessons for women entering a new chapter: you don't have to remain the woman you've always been simply because other people are familiar with her.
Come home differently. The most meaningful journey isn't measured by how many countries you've visited. Ask yourself: What did this place awaken in me? What am I bringing home besides photographs?
WHY MY HEART KEEPS RETURNING TO DUBAI
Some places you visit. Others somehow become part of you.
Dubai is that place for me.
Living there changed my life in ways I could never have anticipated. It was where my photography journey truly began, but more importantly, it opened my eyes to a completely different way of seeing the world.
What fascinated me most was the contrast.
Ancient traditions alongside extraordinary ambition. The call to prayer echoing through a rapidly evolving city. Quiet mornings beside the Arabian Gulf followed by the energy of one of the world's most international communities. Old souks, spices and wooden abras beside breathtaking architecture, design and innovation.
I loved learning about the culture, respecting the Islamic traditions and discovering a city built by people who had arrived from almost every corner of the world with their own stories, dreams and aspirations.
Dubai taught me to look beyond the obvious.
Behind the glamour, luxury hotels and extraordinary skyline is a place filled with culture, generosity, diversity and possibility.
Perhaps that is why my heart keeps returning.

5 REASONS I BELIEVE YOU SHOULD EXPERIENCE DUBAI
1. COME FOR THE CONTRAST
Explore the old souks and historic neighbourhoods, then step into a city of extraordinary contemporary architecture. Dubai constantly reminds you that
tradition and progress can exist side by side.
2. EXPERIENCE ANOTHER CULTURE
Listen to the call to prayer, learn about Emirati traditions, taste Arabic food and take the time to understand the customs behind the city.
Travel becomes richer when we remain curious about how other people live.
3. DISCOVER ITS INCREDIBLE DIVERSITY
Dubai is home to people from across the world. That multiculturalism can be felt in its restaurants, neighbourhoods, conversations and creative energy. In many ways,
the world meets in Dubai.
4. EXPERIENCE BEAUTIFUL DESIGN
For someone who loves photography, architecture and interiors, Dubai is endlessly inspiring—from desert light and Islamic geometry to ambitious contemporary buildings and some of the world's most considered hotels.
5. GO FOR HOW IT MAKES YOU FEEL
This is the reason I keep returning. Dubai gives me energy. It makes me curious. It encourages me to dream bigger and reminds me how transformative stepping outside the familiar can be.
Dubai didn't simply give me somewhere new to live. It gave me a new lens through which to see the world—and, ultimately, myself.
